Ali al Shihabi Founder, Chairman Ali al Shihabi established Rasmala Investment Bank in 2003. Prior to establishing Rasmala, Mr. al Shihabi was the Chairman of the Board Management Committee of the Saudi Hollandi Bank, a position he held for over 10 years. Mr. al Shihabi holds a BA from Princeton University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Tamer Bazzari Chief Executive Officer Joined Rasmala in 2002 from the Dubai Financial Market, where he was the Senior Advisor to the Director General. He also worked with Deloitte in Canada and Ernst & Young in the UAE. Mr. Bazzari holds a BA from McGill University and a Graduate Degree in accounting from Concordia University. He is a Chartered Accountant and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder.

David Woods Chief Operating Officer Joined Rasmala in 2009 having previously served as the Chief Operating Officer of ABN-AMRO (Middle East). He has also previously held the positions of Chief Executive Officer of ABN-AMRO Securities (USA) and Chief Executive Officer of Alfred Berg Securities (a leading securities firm in Scandinavia). David is a graduate of Harvard University.
Eric Swats Head of Asset Management Joined Rasmala in 2003 from Citigroup Asset Management where he served as Head of European Private Bank Asset Management. Mr. Swats holds an MBA in Finance from New York University. He is also a CFA Charterholder.
Khaled Masri Head of Brokerage Joined Rasmala in 2004 after having served as the Senior Manager at the Investment Department of Riyad Bank. Prior to that Mr. Masri served as a Director in the Emerging Markets division of Sociéte Générale. He holds a BA in Finance from University of Delaware, USA.

Husam Kutaifan Head of Corporate Finance Joined Rasmala in 2009 from Samba Capital, the Investment Banking Subsidiary of Samba Bank (the second largest bank in Saudi Arabia), where he served as the Head of Mergers and Acquisitions. Mr. Kutaifan has an MBA in Finance from Western Michigan University and is also a CFA Charterholder.
Michael Kidd Head of Private Equity Joined Rasmala in 2009 from Intaj, a MENA focused mid-cap private equity fund. Prior to that, he was Executive Director at CIBC and CIBC Capital Partners in London focusing on mid-cap private equity. He also worked at McKinsey & Co in the US. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering from Dartmouth College and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Anwar Abu Sbaitan Head of Placements Joined Rasmala in 2004 from Merrill Lynch, his last position being Executive Marketing Director for the Gulf region out of Bahrain. He also had established Merrill Lynch’s Jordan office and had served as Executive Director in Merrill Lynch’s San Francisco office.
Nadine Haddad Head of Institutional Sales Joined Rasmala in 2009 from Shuaa Capital where she headed Institutional Sales-Capital Markets. She was previously the Chief Dealer at Fransa Invest Bank. Ms Haddad holds a MBA from the Lebanese American University and a BA in Business Administration from Beirut University College.

Hamad Al Huthaili Managing Director Joined Rasmala in 2007 from Saudi Hollandi Bank, where he served as a General Manager. Prior to that, he worked at the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency in the foreign investment department. He holds a BA in Finance and Marketing from St. Thomas University.

Al Harith Al Khalili Managing Director Joined Rasmala in 2007, having previously held the position of General Manager in QInvest. He has more than 10 years experience in financial markets. Mr. Al Khalili Holds a BA in Accounting from Al Yarmouk University and an MBA from the University of Hull.
